I finaly fitted an underseat drawer to the drivers seat this morning after waiting weeks for a dry day. I'm really pleased as I now have more storage to make up for the small glovebox. Did consider the passenger side too but with the umbrella holder already there I'll leave it for now.
I was suprised it took less than an hour to fit and managed without needing to unplug the battery, which was something I was concenred about.
Underseat Drawer
How did you know the Tiguan part(s) would fit? What is needed and do you have part numbers?
When I did my Yeti it wasn't easy (https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/1 ... ge-drawer/)
I am now 14 years older (I wasn't young then) so need as much help as possible.

....and today was a good day in the life of....
I found out thanks to a member on a karoq owners page on facebook. The way shown for the yeti looks pretty much the same way I did it. It took me less than an hour to fit, but I must admit, a third hand to hold up the drawer guide while trying to put the bolts in would have made the job much easier.
If you decide to do it, take the drawer out of the guide frame before fitting as it's harder to get one of the bolts in. Also it is so much easier to unbolt the seat and let it lean back against the rear seat. I was concerned about the airbag and seat belt tensioner, but the electric cable under the seat is long so it was still slack with the seat leaning back.
I'm not so young so either, so with age comes new ideas how to do a job without causing too many aches the following day
. So I used something to sit on rather then kneeling on the drive and a mirror when trying to find bolt holes etc.
I used this link to find to fit it (after translating with google browser).

The parts in the picture are to do both sides.

Wow I love this - not seen this mod before.
Stevegtuk - don't suppose you have any more guidance on what tiguan underseat draw I need to buy - is it from a specific year? My karoq is an SE from 2022. Many thanks

My Karoq has a large plastic box fitted under the driver's seat - apparently to house some of the electronics - so I'd never pursued the idea of adding an underseat drawer. Do you have this as well, and does the drawer clear the box at any seat height?
