I own a Karoq 1.5 Sportline and have done so for about 12 months. This problem has been evident for a while but really noticed it today as it got too hot.

Normally, the system is in Auto/airconditioning but sometimes I switch it OFF. Why do I still get heat coming through the dashboard vents ?

it is open system and works without any motor, while driving air is going in cabin. you can close all vent holes inside..

The 'off' only refers to the aircon. If you don't want heat you need to turn the temperature don to 17-18 degrees.
