Re: Average speed consumption

Hi everyone, I’m a committed Skoda driver, I’m on my fifth, albeit that this is my first Karoq, all the others have been Octavia’s. My Karoq is a 21 plate SEL on petrol & I’m really pleased with it, however it does have one niggling fault in that a couple of times a week the SOS signal comes on...

Re: Average speed consumption

Try setting the system to show consumption from start. If you do this you will find that the figure starts in the range 10-20mpg. On a typical trip along an A road at 50-60mpg the figure will slowly increase to ~40mpg by ~12 miles. It may then take another 10-12 miles to acheive ~47mpg. I can certai...

Re: Space saver wheel

I too have recently purchased a Skoda Karoq albeit four years old. The vehicle came with no spare, just a bottle of glue and a pump. Not liking this arrangement I ordered a spare wheel kit and spare wheel at a cost of £330.00. The problem I have is the wheel is 18" diameter. The wheels on my c...

Re: Space saver wheel

Hi I am new to the forum having literally just purchased a brand new Karoq SE L TSI DSG "Edition". I take delivery in the next week or so. Extremely pleased with what I've seen so far on test drive etc. The only thing I'm concerned about is the lack of spare wheel. My current car has been...

Re: First post here - hello!

This might seem a silly question but is it possible to fit higher aspect tyres to the 19" rims to avoid the expense of the new wheels? You need to be very careful if you want to do this. The standard 19" tyre is 225 wide with a 40% aspect ratio. It may well be possible to fit 235/40 tyre ...

Re: Service

Hopefully you can find a decent Skoda dealer nearer you. In my Skoda days I chose to travel 40 mile round trip to buy and service my 8 Skodas rather than go to the local idiots. If I was in your position I would report your 'duff' dealers to Skoda, making an official complaint, but only if you can ...

Nor did the next one up, the Edition. Couldn't see the point in spending over £300 for somehing I never expected to need. Never used my heated seat either, althogh my wife likes her's.

Re: ' SOS Error: Emergency Call workshop!

How often does this happen? If it is once, then see if it happens again. I've had this issue 3 times in the last 2 years or so. Mine got so bad that on a journey of 25 miles to the dealer it went off 4 times, after the fourth I gave up stopping, turning off the engine and restarting as it would not ...

Re: Full size spare with 50mph sticker

Thanks for response. It is a steel rim. the tyre size is 215/60/16 and tyres on the car are 215/50/18. Different mismatched tyres. The 50mph sticker is correct. Sorry but saying different mismatched tyres doesn't really help. Please don't think I am deliberately being awkard. It's just I would like...
